Minor interruption of RP-ness:
I attended the pre-show meeting at the theatre tonight (we’re about to put 9 to 5 on the stage) and out of mcfrickin’ NOWHERE - it’s announced that I won a special recognition award for outstanding contribution to the theatre in a short amount of time (1 year).
That’s not my “real” award; just a placeholder trophy until the one with my name on it is ready - but I’m still shocked and ecstatic to have won when I didn’t even know that was a thing that could be had.
I just help out to help out at the theatre because I love it.
So, yeah: that’s what’s going on with me.
P.S.: 9 to 5 was AMAZING. I wish y’all could come see our show. You’d laugh your rooster off!
((So I apologize once more for my absence but between work and preparing for this adventure I was feeling a little anti-social and then completely exhausted after this trip. This was such a fun experience though! My roommate and a friend and I drove four hours and got to go day-digging for crystals! The mine had a bunch of different kinds of quartz, mica and supposedly aquamarine(which we unfortunately didn’t find any) but we had a great time.
Pretty sure mica has permanently fused into my skin now. Got a bunch of paper cuts from it too. These are just some of the ones I found, I have a bucket that’s soaking the stones now so I’ll post updates once I get them all cleaned up!))

So my dad is a huge aeroplane nerd and was looking up our outbound flight, he text me asking if we were at gate 30 but we were at gate 49 because that's what our boarding pass said. I double checked and it turned out our gate had been changed to gate 30, if it wasnt for my aviation nerd stalker dad I would've had no idea o.o
