1. My sister and I are obsessed with the Kung Fu Panda series. It’s just so beautiful, heart warming, emotional and awesome! The characters are all so interesting, and the music is absolutely amazing. (Crane is my favorite character).
2. My favorite part of writing is the world building and character creation. I just love the feeling of creatin a world out of nothing but my imagination!
3. I love ties. I own seven and I wear them whenever I can.
4. My guilty pleasure is watching really bad animated movies. I don’t know if it makes me feel good because it helps me feel like I have a chance in the industry, or if I just like making fun of them. I just, like to watch them.
5. I’ve been called insane on several occasions, but I take it as a compliment. It’s the insane ones that are creative, and the creative ones that change the world.
6. My dream job is being a voice actor. I’ll often do impressions, or try making up voices for my characters, or for the games I play with just text instead of dialogue. I know I probably won’t be able to do it, but it’s still fun as a hobby.
7. I had a speech impediment when I was younger. I couldn’t say R’s or S’s, so I had to go to speech therapy for a while to fix it. And after that, I would usually talk so fast that you couldn’t understand me even without the speech impediment.
8. I often wish that I could just write everything in my life rather than speak. I make a fool of myself quite often, and when I do, I get super anxious about those moments. I’ve gotten a bit more comfortable with letting them go, but there are times when I still find it very hard. But when I write, I feel like I can share and express my thoughts more easily. I can argue better, describe things better, and do most things better through text rather than speech. Well, everything except telling jokes. I’m better at that when I’m talking.
9. I will go on for hours if someone gets me talking about my writing. Whether it’s world building, the characters I’ve created, plot or theme, I will keep going until you force me to stop. I pretty much lose all sense of time when I talk about my writing, so I never realize just how long I talk. That is, until the person I’m talking to tells me how long it’s been.
10. I wear cosmetic glasses. They’re basically just dollar store reading glasses with the lenses popped out. I’ve always loved how glasses look, but my eyesight is 20/20. So even though I wanted to wear glasses, I didn’t need them. Then, one day I just decided to start wearing them. I popped out the lenses of a pair my mom couldn’t use anymore (with permission, of course) and I started wearing them. I feel like they make me look a lot better.
