Ive been talking lots of dnd with a friend of mine and have been making doodles as of late for it!!! I decided to change them from variant human to fallen aasimar based on said discussions ^0^/ still a stablock though lol

I have Akemi here who I haven't spoken much if at all about here, but she's pretty important to the story too! She's a high schooler :]. I have a few quirk ideas to gice her but writing these down for now since I'm still indecisive

Pixelate - can distort an area she's at in a certain radius; this messes up her own vision too though

First Impulse - corrupts others thoughts in a way that makes them only able to act on their first impulse for a short amount of time; a bit risky in general

Calm - Presence halts or lessens violent behaviour (not too sure in what specific way or manner yet)

Sapere Aude - by saying "tell me the truth", is able to get a truthful reply from the other person (though they aren't forced to say the full truth, and there may be times they believe a lie)

I did once consider the possibility of them being an Aasimar Warlock/Rogue, but it just didn't fit the overall lore that well to make sense so they're still a variant human, but once in a while they can be temporarily possessed by their patron (currently unnamed) to wreak havoc for a little while. I'm thinking of doing a special homebrew thing but here's the gist of the concept:

Patron Possession

You attempt to channel your patron into your body to possess you for a short amount of time. Roll a straight D20 without any modifiers. On an 18 or higher, your patron is called to you, and your consciousness is pushed to the side, though you are aware of your surroundings. A roll that is 10 or under will cause you to make a Wisdom Saving throw of 18. On a failed save, you are to take 2d12 psychic damage, and half on a successful one.

If your patron is called to you, all stats, abilities, and checks are your patron's. roll a d10 to determine how many minutes your patron remains in your body. You are able to telepathically communicate with your patron a few words as to what you want them to do in that time frame. The patron leaves after the time limit expires or your hit points drop to 0 or below/unconscious.

I'm hoping to test out the build in a one-shot, though most one-shots are dealt in level 10s, so they would be only a 10 warlock by that point :pensive:.

But something neat is the archfey isn't a mean patron!! It was a pact done via pity though it wasn't exactly something wanted, either. Still working out the deetz but I'm hoping to do simple visuals like this for the others as I kinda work on their dnd-based counterparts
