Jayroy Music Headcanons

It’s been a Hot Minute since I’ve shared any of my Jayroy Headcanons, and seeing as the main reason why is school, I thought I’d do a list kind of on topic with that (as I am a music major, and this is totally my element)

-Roy and Jason have a favorite album to listen to together— it makes them collectively feel romantic and relaxed.

-Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me album.

-Roy’s favorite song is “Cold Cold Heart”, as it reminds him of when he was first trying to date Jason, and all of the ups and downs in their relationship since.

-Jason’s favorite song is “I’ve Got To See You Again”, because he loves to dance with Roy to it, especially making it as dramatic as possible.

-Once, Jason surprised Roy by learning how to play “Painter Song” on guitar. He serenaded him as best he could and Roy’s heart absolutely melted.

-Not wanting to be outdone, Roy likes to sing his own rendition of “Turn Me On” over the phone for Jason whenever one of them is away on business and they miss each other – and just be a total tease.

-Jason has been known to sing “The Nearness Of You” to Roy while they lay in bed together and neither of them can sleep (for whatever reason, though particularly following a job that involved a rather close call).

I really want to try and do a small fic series revolving around the whole album, but no promises... (feel free to motivate me though, I definitely need it)
