My ick will forever be people that call "ome.luum the good illithid and emp.eror the bad illithid." Neither of them are good or bad. It's canon that ome lies to the player about the ring, and if it did just care about giving hope it wouldn't have required monetary payment or some other worthwhile trade. BUT I've also seen people take this as 'ome is secretly evil too'. Also don't like that. Both of them are just trying to survive and thrive in ways they see as best, both independent and far more complicated than simple 'good and evil'.

I could vent about this topic a lot more but I will not

#MUN. ooc #( as an ome writer it does get annoying cause i see a lot of emp hate stuff cause i write ome #nothing caused this btw other than going in the ome tag #im an emp defender til i die too both squids are worthy of love and living #as much as sweet baby ome jokes are funny i dont think its this pure ball of innocence at all #i think it cares a lot more than a typical illithid about others but its still capable of selfishness )
