I love the story but Sakura is getting played way too much 😢 If she wants to be queen she has to get a grip asap! Everything else is great :)

Sakura isn't getting played as much as you may think. ;) Men just assume they can take advantage of her because of her age. But then she wiggles her way out.

Wow. I'm so happy to get notifications about your posts. I must say that Sakura here is pretty badass. I hope she doesn't get duped by oozing machismo from men like Hashi and Madara. Awww is Sakura concerned about tobirama? I could feel Tobirama is, too however minute the gestures are. I am itching to know who that stalker of Sakura is... hmmm. As always, i am anticipating the next chappie. Thanks so much

Naruto would have a bright ass jeep haha. This is why Sakura car hops saves on gas and blocks nosy uchihas from following her. But even if they reverse track it I sure hope Madara and co. are smart enough to have it cross referenced somewhere else. loved it thanks for sharing!!!

I have such a headcannon that in any modern world AUs Naruto has a bright yellow or orange jeep.

I’m already late for work so I have to stop for now but I like how Sakura worries a bit about Tobirama! Can’t wait to see him in action and I can’t wait to see if he’ll be having a face off (of some sorts) with the agent/officer from last chapter WHICH I STILL BELIEVE IS ITACHI!!!! Waaahhh will read the rest later! Thanks for this update! 😘

Some of those old men need to straighten up and fly right when it comes to Sakura-eff the rest of the world, but Sakura should be treated right. Tobi is ok...for now, but I have a sick feeling that his solo raid is a punishment for getting involved with Sakura? Maybe not directly, but Hashirama didn't seem happy about it. Also this line: "in dresses that were too short and heels that were too high...." Holy cow, that made me feel things. It was so beautiful and pure and perfect. Yes please. I'm not convinced that Madara isn't working with Itachi and other Uchiha to undermine the Senju, and using Sakura as a wedge maybe? There are so many theories. My brain is going everywhere with this.

Good inference about the whole Tobi raid. I didn't confirm it but that was implied a little. (but there's still more to it that hasn't yet been revealed). Plenty of story left to answer the rest of your questions! :D

I loved Ino's backstory and Shikamaru's too, both very fitting. Man even though Sakura is doing business with others she still has to watch her back. I feel like her partners this time are way more dangerous. Also the cliffhanger is gonna keep me thinking all week lol. Great chapter! I really love all the details you put into your writing, thanks for writing!

Ino and Shikamaru are honestly so much fun to write. There will definitely be plenty more of them.

“How could she? How dare she?”

Tobirama swallows, dodging to the side as Hashirama’s Mokutonsprings to life in response to his agitated emotions. He hasn’t seen Hashiramalose control like this in…ages. “Calm down,Hashirama. You’re acting like a child.”

Hashirama stops, shoulders tensing. Tobirama cannot see hisexpression, but he can taste the murderous intent in the air. He slams hishands down on his desk and Tobirama winces as they crack beneath the brunt ofhis anger. “She sent you an invitation to her yuinou. She is marrying into theUzumaki clan!”

“She is preventing war!” Tobirama snaps,finally allowing his anger to show. “You drove her to this Hashirama; your damnstubbornness caused her to make this sacrifice.”

“Stubbornness?” Hashirama asks and hisvoice is suddenly soft and Tobirama is all the more afraid. “You speak to me ofstubbornness? Everything I did, I did for her sake. And what does she do?” Hewhirls around and Tobirama cannot help the step back he takes when he sees thedark intent in Hashirama’s gaze. He balls the fine invitation in his hand,tossing it at Tobirama. “She turns her back on me to marry that Uzumaki brat, Takara.” Hashirama makes thename a curse. “How could she?”

“She loves you Hashirama,” Tobirama sayssoftly, smoothing out the crushed invitation. His heart clenches as he takes inthe looping letters, written out in Sakura’s own steady hand. “She loves you sodamn much. Why else would she choose to bind herself to the Uzumaki clan, toUzushio, to protect Konoha from war? You’re so selfish.”

Hashiramamakes a noise of inarticulate rage and Tobirama blinks as his desk is consumedby the Mokuton, sprouting into a wild, savage tree. “I love her,” he says.

“I know,” Tobirama sighs, slumping asHashirama finally calms. The storm is passed. Konoha, Sakura,is safe. “Iknow you do. Do not let her sacrifice be in vain.”

Hashiramadoesn’trespond. Tobirama gently pats his brother’s shoulder and leaves the room.

Hashiramalooks down at the tattered invitation, picking it up. He runs his fingers overthe gold lettering thoughtfully, lovingly.

And then…he smiles.

“It won’t be in vain. I’ll make sure of it.”
