Hello New Followers!
Seeing as I've been pretty much a ghost in this community as of late, and would like not to be that for very much longer, I thought perhaps I should introduce myself and my lovely little doucheprincess of a character especially seeing as it is Munday and I need a little break from this, my final research paper ever (yikes) while I wait for my chicken nuggets to cook.
So hello there!
Munstuff:
My name is Erika, but everyone here calls me Merc (my main blog is mercenarysexualty, if you were confused) and I kind of like it.
I am a cisgendered, asexual-ish lady who prefers she/her pronouns. I am 25 years old (yikes), and I have just graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a degree in German Studies with minors in Russian Studies and Women's Studies. My particular passion is Gendered History, with emphasis in post-war Germany. If that's a thing that seems interesting to you, I'm always available to answer questions or have discussions.
I have a dog named Samwise Gamgee, and he is freaking adorable.
I work full-time and was just a full-time student and now am full-time freaking the fuck out about what I want to do in life, and so my engagements in the boring part of the world can often distract me from my duties here. I am a manager at my full-time job and rather unhappy there at the moment (and, thus, in the middle of a search for new horizons), and the stress can all but kill my muse, so I do apologize in advance for my slowness.
I like paragraph RPs as well as shorter banters -- what I have the inspiration for is what I create and reply to. I'm rubbish at thread trackers, but I'll make an effort to change that once these papers are submitted and I can commit more time to being here.
Musestuff:
My primary muse is an OC Warden named Inara Panthin. She is a human commoner who hails from the Wending Wood in Amaranthine, but who lives in later and is recruited from Denerim. I have a fic blog for her and Dragon Age in general and I sometimes post things here from there if I feel like they are important to her character and often post things there from here if I deem them good enough.
Inara is demiromantic and chiefly heterosexual. She is open to monogamous as well as polyromantic relationships. However, it is important to note that unless polyromance is actively discussed in whatever verse we RP in, all her romantic verses are separate.
As in, I multiship. Multiple different characters and multiples of the same character -- I put the muse-muse chemistry into consideration and, if I like it, I can probably ship it. And probably will.
Inara is a pretty flexible character. I have many, many, MANY AUs for her both within the Dragon Age universe and outside of it. Basically, if you come and ask me, "hey, can we do a thing where ____?" the answer is probably "yeah sure". Just ask me. Politely, preferably.
