Why did you choose your URL

[I didn’t actually choose it, but I can take a stab in the dark and say that the URL was simply chosen because of the muse’s name. I’m also willing to guess that the original choices were taken because Sharaku Mikage is not the only “Mikage” out there, so a hyphen was added, which, though frustrating for tags, creates a nice distinction between given name and surname initial.]

Favorite anime: [Ah, well, naturally Durarara!!, but a few others I like are Mekakucity Actors, Steins;Gate, Princess Tutu, Psycho-Pass]

Video games: [Of the titles I’ve played myself, LoZ: Twilight Princess, The Last Story, Spyro, Pokemon HeartGold, Sly Cooper 1-3, and Sonic Advance 2 hold special places in my heart.  Kingdom Hearts was kinda neat, too.  For games I want to play, Xenoblade Chronicles, the entire Final Fantasy series, and Portal 1 and 2 seem appealing to me.  Maybe also Fire Emblem?]

First language: [American English.

I made this distinction previously and got made fun of for it, but I feel that it’s important.  Though American English has its own subset of dialects, it is not its own language, but rather a variant of English at large.  Its grammar rules and majority of its dictated definitions are the same as British, Australian, or any other English, as both are comprehensible to an American, but variations in spelling , slang, and colloquialisms create a necessary distinction.  (aka “American” is not a language in and of itself. For Americans, did you ever have “American” language class?  No?  It was “English”? WOW! Blowing minds up in here.) Sorry for the digression, language is a passionate area for me...]
