Homeland PC/NPC spotlight day 1: Caliban/Munnin, Maud “Stoneskin” Hawke, Hadvar

(Homeland is a homebrew ttrpg run by my dear friend, all NPCs belong to her and PCs to their players, please do not claim as your own or tag as your oc)

Caliban: an NPC who claims to be a wandering poet, but is actually one of Odin’s ravens, escaped his terrible master and on the run from him. Willing to do almost anything or make any deal to keep himself safe and hidden from the Allfather. He saved Maud’s brother, Neci, by chance in game one, and Maud hasn’t left him alone since.

Maud: one of my characters! The best warrior in Skalverg (the village setting for our game) contested only by her childhood friend and ex lover, Hadvar. Cursed from birth to feel nothing, no pain, pleasure, taste, or smell, Maud has led a difficult life fueled by the ambition to aggressively take care of those she cherishes. She has ruined her body in the process. Ever accompanied by her faithful hawk, Meat.

Hadvar: an NPC who constantly battles with Maud for the title of best warrior. A ruthless raider renown for his brutality in battle and willingness to brawl with anyone at any time. After the love of his life turned him away for reasons she would not explain, he turned to drinking and his life steadily fell into despair. He has a good heart beneath all the bull headed surliness.

So was anyone going to tell me Huginn and Muninn are names from Norse mythology - as in Odin's personal ravens - or was I suppose to figure that out myself?
