"Woahh where did you find that shirt?? It's so cool!"
Mei grinned at the stranger. “It was a gift from my sisters! I dunno where they got it though... You know how it is with gifts from people, you never know where they got it.” She laughed. “Thanks though! It’s one of my favorites, for sure.”
“On a scale of one to pathetic, what does sending myself chocolates at school so my classmates think someone likes me fall under?”
“I’d say it’s about as pathetic as demanding free drinks from someone you barely know,” Roderich said in a rather thoughtful tone, as sarcastic as the response was. “So quite high on the pathetic scale.” From the look in his eyes, it was obvious he was teasing.
“I didn’t mean to wake you up…”
“I suppose you didn’t...” Antonio ran a hand through his hair and yawned into his hand before he rubbed at his eye. Even though he wasn’t going to say it he hoped there was a good reason the other had woke him up.Even if he was a nice guy over all he still didn’t like being woken up then again who does. “Was there something you needed help with amigo?”

Lukas wasn’t quite sure how he’d managed to get roped into playing a video game with Kristen. Video games had never quite been his jam, technology confusing him far more than it should. He never really got why people played games either - the graphics were always far better outside.
Throwing his controller onto the ground with a dramatic flair, Lukas pulled his legs to his chest and tried his best to pretend that his sulking wasn’t sulking.
“I don’t get this game. It’s stupid.”
“Maybe if I get a free drink I can consider talking to you.”
Roderich frowned slightly at the response. He’d really only been trying to strike a friendly conversation. Was complimenting someone’s shirt considered a flirtatious act now? He supposed it didn’t really matter. He gave a small shrug.
“Order something, then, if that’s what you wish. I’ll pay.”
“You look exhausted. Did you get any sleep last night?”
Roderich stifled a yawn, his elbow resting on the armrest of his wheelchair so that he could prop up his chin with his hand. He took off his glasses with his free hand to rub his eyes. “Some. Not enough, clearly.”
"Time out for a Halls cough drop pep talk! Alright!"
“A what?”
Roderich gave the man an incredulous look. “Nothing you just said made any semblance of sense, I hope you know.”
“Egg man.”
“Egg man.” She nodded solemnly, looking at the book title and trying not to laugh. Sure, it wasn’t the Professor’s fault that the printer had misprinted ‘Magical Egg Management’, but no one in class was about to act like it.
“I’m really glad I took the 'Egg Man’ course aren’t-” She stumbled over suppressed laughter, “-aren’t you?”
