I've been commissioning the major arcana from my friend @mizukichama, each of the arcana is someone that connects to that card for me. The Fool, my cleric from my first DnD game who embodies my understanding of the card, representing adventure, innocence, spontaneity and new beginnings. The Magician, my friend @monochromaticdays who to me is one of many of my talented artist friends, and who embodies the magic of creativity and creation with beautiful and inspiring landscapes. The High Priestess, @rinimiki, who isn't on tumblr but absolutely embodies intuition and wisdom, and the femininity the card calls for The Empress is the second of my OCs, a woodland spirit who embodies the seasons with a strong connection to nature, beauty, and a majesty of a local deity The Emperor was tricky, the masculine cards are generally harder for me to find connections with, but I ended up choosing my cat, who is the emperor of my household (haa) and represents stability, protection and disciplined focus, because he brought those elements into my life The sixth card, The Hierophant, was hard for me too.. I have no connection to religious stuff really, but another reading of the card is as the teacher, and so I chose @teaboot because he has a lot of wisdoms and is also teablart makes him kinda the closest I have to a figure of wisdom and authority, and stuff. Of the traditional systems in mysticdoorway, I think he best embodies living according to your beliefs, morals, ethical standards and stuff. Anyway this is a fun project, gonna be a loooong time in the making and thanks @mizukichama for coming along with it
