Sakura regards the fox, fussing and carefully nudging the tattered doll back towards its box. Naruto’s description of it as a "ratty ass doll" was seemingly accurate, as the thing was falling apart at the seams. It was clearly very well loved, and she smiles fondly as she remembers her own tattered plush rabbit hidden in the corner of her closet all the way back home.

“You know, Tomoe-chan, I could fix dolly’s body so it's strong again for you to carry around. If you’d like, I mean...”

“...you can?”

“Yeah! I'm a doctor, after all! A pretty good one, too. Fixing others is kind of my whole thing.”

“...”

“You don't have to if you don't want to, but the offer is always there.”

“If you kill it I will curse you.”

A nervous chuckle escapes her; she hadn't expected Tomoe to actually take her up on her offer. Lady Tsunade had her suture back a severed hand once. Fixing the plush doll can’t be more difficult than that. Right?
