@zeneisen: Jay/Veni/Jake--whatever you refer to him as, we all know that he’s terrifying. By that, I mean terrifying because he’s so wonderful that it’s frankly intimidating. But once you’ve summoned up enough courage and reached out to him for the first time, it’s like a joyride when you’re fifteen and licenseless and you’re screaming your head off because you forgot how to decelerate and now you’ve got the cops on your tail for going 100kmh on a 70. Though that might be exaggerating a bit; Veni is someone who puts so much thought and effort into whatever he does, and he’s so careful with his muses (when he isn’t cracking all over the place) that it’s just wonderful to be able to talk to him IC and OOC.

@gxtsumen: Cat is sweet. Cat is a joy. Cat is fun and it’s just really nice to be able to talk to them OOC, since they’re just really sweet and accepting of whatever nonsense you have to throw at them, whether it’s for an RP or whatever. Also--to top it off like icing for a cake, they have a Tsukki who sasses (and won’t be sassed at!) like a pro and their threads are typically hilarious to read.

@thotobolosaurus: Elva’s Tsukishima is like the light at the end of a tunnel: you know it surely means that you’re dead, but the light itself is such a relief to see that you just run straight towards it and all but throw yourself into it. In other words, once you’re in, you’re never getting out. Even though Tsukishima’s not around currently--because Elva’s such a quirky, sweet person who’s such fun to talk to and get to know. And to RP with. There’s no end to the depravity that you can generate with her and that’s probably the biggest selling point to RPing with her that I can think of right now. There’s never a dull moment around when you’re talking to both her and--

@muradai: Rivka who is absolutely adorable for all that she’d protest that she isn’t. She’s got the soul of an old man living within her, and that’s Daichi--which makes RPing and talking with her hilarious because who doesn’t love talking to a young, smol child with the voice of a stinky old man? Real talk though: she’s hilarious, and it’s so, so great to be able to get to know her OOC and Daichi IC.

    Daichi reached up, pressing a hand to his face before pulling it back to reveal blood coating the ends of his fingers. He wiped at his face, the pad of his hand smearing the horribly warm liquid across his left cheek.

    “Oh. When did that happen?” He asked, looking at Teru, who was standing in front of him, his face making an expression of concern. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m fine.”

                        Oh? Oh?! Teru blinked in disbelief, mouth                         hanging open slightly as he just couldn’t                         understand the calm demeanor of the elder.                         He shook the shock away, untying his                         bandanna from his hair.

“Don’t give me that! Serious or not, you’re bleeding! It’s not to take lightly!”

                        The tone is scolding, his eyes filled with                         concern towards Daichi. He shook the                         bandanna, getting rid of any sort of dust or                         stray hairs that would irritate the wound,                         before pressing it gently against the wound.

With Daichi pinned under him, Oikawa found it extremely difficult to remove the smug look that was sure to be on his face. So he didn’t even try to, instead grinning wickedly down at the other captain. "Look at it! Look at you! You’re ridiculously fit.” His voice was set in a falsely disapproving tone as he continued to slap at his abdomen.

Though really, Oikawa was shamelessly feeling Daichi up at this point, his slaps quickly turning into appreciative rubbing, following along the contours of his muscular figure.

Kenma is hiding from Hinata and Kageyama, standing behind Kuroo and tapping away at a game on his phone, when he hears his name called.

He recognizes the voice immediately, he’s heard it all weekend-- it’s Sawamura, Karasuno’s captain. Kenma’s first instinct is to run away, but he doesn’t want to risk making Sawamura angry at him, it’s scary.

So he peeks at the captain from behind Kuroo before walking over to him and hoping he isn’t going to be asked why he doesn’t want to hang around Hinata and Kageyama anymore.

❛ should i be concerned? ❜ asked, arms crossed against his chest as blue colored eyes watched the scenery of the karasuno team being like of it was disneyland. sometimes he was glad that the only one – mostly him – that made a complete mess was his captain, which after thinking about it wasn’t actually that good.

Character in general: I don’t have a lot of strong feelings on daichi, but he’s definitely a well crafted captain and I think he’s a good character. Back when he had been a teenager, Oikawa had always thought that by the age of thirty, he would’ve gotten somewhere with his life. Perhaps he would’ve gotten into and graduated from his dream university, maybe gotten a job in a field he’d found a new love and/or obsession for; perhaps he would’ve found a girlfriend by then, gotten married, maybe considered having kids--normal things, really, that his parents had expected for him. Things that he had expected for himself.

He wouldn’t have expected to be a father by the age of twenty-three, to not just one kid but two, armed with nothing but a degree and no job. The subsequent years had led him from hardship to hardship, but he wouldn’t have changed it for anything--not when he’d managed to make it this far, having raised his children almost singlehandedly through it all. It really wasn’t until he’d experienced parenthood that he understood the reluctance with which his own parents had let him leave Japan--the love he held for his girls was terrifyingly deep.

But as much as he loved his children, he found himself questioning why he held such affection for them as he was all but dragged down the hallways of the pet clinic by the hem of his shirt. The small hand attached to his shirt was further attached to a worried Ryuuko. Letting out an exasperated sigh as he shifted the pet carrier in his arms, he glanced back to make sure Hatsue was still following them.

She was. And looked just as annoyed as Oikawa felt.

“Button is going to be fine,” Oikawa said in an attempt to placate Ryuuko, fairly sure that in his current state, he didn’t sound convincing at all. Still, he tried. “The vet’s going to take a look at her, and they’ll make her all better, alright, Ryuu-chan? Don’t you trust--uh, Sawamura-sensei?” He asked, glancing at the nameplate on the door, just as he pushed it open.

He didn’t fully realise why the name, Sawamura Daichi, looked so familiar to him until he lay eyes on the vet.

He hadn’t seen this man in about ten or so years, give or take.

Nearly dropping the pet carrier in his shock, Oikawa tried to hide his blunder by laughing instead, tucking the carrier securely against his chest. The poor rabbit must’ve been terrified inside of the carrier.

“Oh--wow. Wow. It’s been... a very long time. I didn’t, uh, expect to see you here, Daicchan!” Oikawa paused, however, realising he might’ve been a little too familiar with him. “Or would you prefer if I called you Sawamura-sensei?” Smiling charmingly, he momentarily ignored his children’s demands to tell them why he was talking to the vet as if he knew him, moving forward to place the carrier down on the examination table.
