The   fallen   angel's   lips   curled   into   a   cruel   smile.   ❝   Always   so   dramatic.   I   merely   thought   we   could...   reminisce.   After   all,   we   share   a   special   bond,   you   and   I.   Both   cast   out,   both   bearing   the   weight   of   our   choices.   ❞   Lucifer's   gaze   swept   around   the   sparse   room,   taking   in   the   centuries   of   accumulated   artifacts   and   relics.   ❝   Nice   little   collection   you've   amassed   here.   Quite   the   hoarder,   aren't   you   ?   ❞   He   chuckled,   the   sound   like   broken   glass.   ❝   You   see,   I'm   feeling...   nostalgic.   And   who   better   to   indulge   in   a   bit   of   nostalgia   with   than   the   world's   first   murderer   ?   ❞   He   picked   up   a   weathered   dagger   from   a   nearby   shelf,   turning   it   over   in   his   hands.   ❝   Tell   me,   Cain,   do   you   ever   think   about   him   ?   About   Abel   ?   ❞

@murderdeals It didn't take Cain long to find him, for there are not many places the angel spends his time at. Appearing out of nowhere, the demon regards his friend with a thoughtful frown. Maybe a bit troubled, too. " Castiel. We need to talk. "

                           CASTIEL NEARLY JUMPS OUT OF HIS SKIN. "Cain!" he exclaims, startled. He's been busy watching a garden spider weave its web between the fence and a gooseberry bush and didn't particularly pay attention to his surroundings. When he looks back now, the spider is gone, probably just as startled. "Talk?" he echoes then, giving his friend one slow blink. "Yes, of course." Then, because Cain looks somewhat troubled and not like his typical stoic self: "Are you alright? Do you require a hot beverage?" Those are supposed to help when someone is upset.

you know? he thought that was a pretty good cheesy pick up line. and he tossed it crowley's way just to throw the demon off. make him wonder what the hell was going on. give him a lil bit of topsy turvy for his weeknight shenanigans of fucking around with dean. might as well toss it back. right? without the threats of violence and whatever else might come to mind given the circumstances at hand. yeah, there's a little bit of beer and whiskey that might be fueling the goofiness of it all. add in the fact that dean is..well..not quite himself but, then again, maybe more of himself than he'd ever admit to. but here they are. the two of them. what's done is done and now that COMPLIMENT is hanging in air. letting crowley digest it. like the watery little 'treat' dean compared him to.

green eyes fill with black irises as he's pulled in. yes. his gaze did move from crowley's eyes to his mouth. where it lingers for a sweep of his tongue over his own bottom lip. then jerks up. underneath a set of lidded lashes. a smirk twists in place as the demon pulls away just before their mouths touch. dean's lips still tingle as if they did. and that moment where they almost did flashes through his mind, so fleeting, the memory causes his stomach to clench. hmmm. he'll think on that later. "mmm. lucky me, indeed. so.. when did it hit you? that you were too nervous to linger that close to me for long. much less do anything else about what goes on in your mind when you are."

                            GABRIEL WONDERS WHY PEOPLE JUST TELL HIM SHIT LIKE THAT. It's probably the whole I'm the messenger of God vibe that makes them believe he's some sort of free Dr. Phil psychotherapist or something. The crap he had to listen to during his time as a glorified carrier pigeon! You don't wanna meet Moses after two glasses of wine, seriously. And now the father of murder — what, wants to talk about how he is one of the villains in the Bible?

                             "Hey, man, if it makes you feel better, fewer and fewer people believe in God and read the Bible. Ask any 12-year-old these days, and they'll just ask Cain who?" He slaps Cain's shoulder hard and bro-like. "And if you're referring to your, uh, lone wolf ax murderer vibe, well, it doesn't help that you live in Bumfuck, Nowhere, 10 miles from the next town, and always scowl at everyone." Suddenly, Gabriel snaps his fingers. "Hey! In movies, that's what starts the makeover montage. Excellent idea, Gabriel, we should do a complete makeover. Queer Eye Bible Edition! Let's put on some cheerful music, and then we'll turn you into a lovable grandpa."

                              LIPREADING IS NO SCIENCE. Even the best and most experienced lipreaders can only understand about 30 to 40 % of what's being said. Usually, that's enough to get the gist of the conversation, but this time, Eileen is at a loss. "You want to have sex with a moose?" she repeats. A look of disgust darts across her face. "That's animal abuse. They can't give consent. Don't do that."

Cain's first instinct would be to fling back a casual retort. That 'looking angry' is simply his face, or something along those lines. He bites it back. Knows that Corinthian somehow can't stop teasing him, ever hovering near to flash those three grins and drawl nonsense. Inhaling a deep breath, he decides to entertain the nightmare. If namely because, at the moment, he's got nothing better to do. Good use... the sheer irony of such coming from this abomination earns it a dry chuckle. Between that and taking a sip from his beer, he shoots Corinthian an expectant side glance. " Like what? "

The Nightmare leans across the couch with a wicked smile, tipping his own beer bottle towards the Demon.

"Don't play coy. I've been inside that head."

There is an air about him that the Nightmare can not get enough of. Drawing the dark mirror in like a moth to a flame. A human soul, tortured and warped by a curse into something ugly.

All of those pent up human emotions bristling just below the surface of a stoic expression. Simmering like a ticking time bomb.

"But since you're not a fan of ambiguity-"

The Corinthian retracts his beer to set it down on the coffee table. His lips pursed sweetly as he makes his proposal abundantly clear.

"I want a taste of all that aggression. As you've probably noticed, I'm a very tactile creature. Sex is simply... a means to experience what humans feel. And since you're also not a fan of flirtation, I'm just gonna spell it out for you."

The gap between them shrinks as the monster leers closer.

"Let all of that delicious frustration out, and fuck me."

blue eyes narrow in confused thought. lips form around words that don't quite hit them on queue. jack is thinking. mulling this statement. this demon over before he makes any sort of hasty conclusions about whether or not he's telling the truth about this second name of his. a hand comes up. fingers curl towards his palm. one after another. until only his pointer is remaining upright. a gesture that he has learned means hold on a second, as dean would say. or if pointed in a direction means things like go to your room. or sit down right now. or get to this precise spot over here before you're hurt.

which is silly because he could protect the person ordering him around very easily. most of the time. if he is CAREFUL. so careful. like protecting a little butterfly. too much power in that protection could damage their wings beyond repair. beyond fixing. well. yet. he hopes.

oh! or! it could mean a ton of other things that make one single motion of a finger mean so much that it's very hard to understand unless it's accompanied by an order. he's getting better at reading these things, though. much better. because he wants to understand the people he loves. or. even. say. this demon with his strange middle name.

finger up! he has his moment to ask. "i didn't know demons could have a middle name. i suppose there's no reason for them not to. if they want. what is your last name, crowley danger? should i have a middle name? i don't think i do. no one's ever told me. i should ask castiel. maybe he can give me a middle name." finger down?! crowley danger, you can continue.

armand comes to a pause and glances back over to crowley, properly making eye contact as his head tilts just so. it's a cold, empty kind of look that gives nothing away, until the very moment it shifts and gives everything away. a wicked, growing smile. amusement and even a flash of endearment in the way he looks to the king.

it's purposeful, the way his gaze shifts, moving along crowley with heat, with intent before coming back up to his eyes-- a single brow raising in the process.

oh, he truly adored time spent in crowley's presence. it was always amusing, entertaining. it wasn't weighed down by mind games and tedious bullshit like with so many others in his life. there was... an understanding he felt. a like-mindedness for a whole different type of games.

slowly, he moves. steady, controlled pace as he steps closer. it's bold and daring and he knows that, but when has armand ever truly shown fear like that? besides, fear had no place here. not really. this was different.

"quite the brat you are sometimes, aren't you, love?" a momentary squint, but that devious little grin remains tugging at the corner of armand's lips. "what is it? not enough attention? if you wanted more, you only had to ask."
