Poirot receives a letter asking for help from Monsieur Paul Renauld. Mystery starts with Poirot reaching Villa Geneviève to help him, only to find him already dead. The links, a grave, the tool shed, the paper cutter, a wife, a secretary, a mistress, an old enemy, the ladies, and a lad, all are under Poirot’s scrutiny. Try and guess the killer before Poirot tells you. Recommended – yes.
