Said line stuck in Hinata's head as he waited for everyone else to slide out of the way to let him see who he'd been partnered with. In all honesty, it didn't sound too bad. Maybe it was just a more complex way of getting all of his students to be more friendly- even if they weren't in the same class. And anyway..! Hinata wasn't feeling too doubtful about his skills in meeting someone new if he has too, it's when they greet him by shock that he gets a bit--

Ah... right.... Who? There was no convincing himself that he actually knew who this was, maybe they were in a class together and he just hadn't picked up the name? Maybe they never were introduced? Maybe they just don't know each other at all..?
C-ta, C-ta, C-ta... Unless this means it's that kid who he's seen around a couple of times, mostly in band, hovering around near A-ya and/or the drums. It was a peculiar name, he had to admit, but it was... someone, that's for sure.
Yes, his psychology partner was someone. That's how far his deduction skills could carry him; to confirm he was paired up with someone of which he may or may not know. Enough messing around--! He had to find this someone by the time a week passes..!
But what was the assignment again? To write a paper on someone to prove he'd met them and become their friend..? Or just to prove he'd met them? It had to venture further from just 'meeting' them into talking to them and just asking questions, right? Maybe if he was a more savage type of person he'd drop the whole 'meet and greet' aspect and watch him through cameras in his room- but that's... gross..! No one in the right mind would do that.
And... a large part of him hoped this someone wouldn't either.

Quick footsteps echoed the hall, and the creaking of the door that belonged to band could be heard -- however, the one entering was a bit of an unlikely face. Then again, he was an unlikely face in this entire school...
The odd man had come rather early; the goal in mind was to get a sense for the instruments that they would be playing, and - also - to meet anyone who might be here at the time.
The only other person, however, was someone with fluffy looking hair who seemed a bit preoccupied with the drum set. No other band members in sight! But curiousity about this particular one nagged at Henry, and the mage quickly moved towards the other, hitting the hi-hat once.
"Hey-o, friend-o! What's this strange and unusual device? It made a rather neat sound when I hit it!" His cheerful expression was paired up with a rather cheerful sounding tone - and of course, the attempt for this was to be as friendly as possible! After all, a new start, a new (less strict and less likely to maybe kill you) school, and possibly new friends.
Well, depending on what someone's definition of friend was; to be honest, the entire thing was still something of a new prospect to the white haired spell flinger. But hey! Why not give it another shot?
The Roommate || [Closed between Lovino and C-ta]
Lovino, having finally found his bags and his room assignment, walks into the lobby of Block B mumbling to himself. "Room 203. Room 203. It has to be near the front." He finds the main hallway and smiles slightly to himself. "Thank God I'll have a room to myself.
"Here's 201, so 203 must be next door." True to his word, 203 is in fact next door to 201. Lovino pulls out his key and lets himself in. After setting his luggage down next to the door he finally takes a look around the room only to see that he doesn't actually have to room all to himself. In the room stands a young man, about a year younger than him, with light brown hair and green eyes.
"Who the fuck are you?"
