I love the Find & Replace feature. It's super helpful when I've written two chapters, misspelling a character's name the entire time 🫠
Okay, ao3, this was fine for a while. But it's getting closer to when I go to bed, and I read for an hour or so. It's my routine. It helps me sleep. Do you not want me to sleep tonight? No?
Then, please come back 🥲
Why am I crying in a muppets movie!? It's so good ;-; I miss musicals
So! I have a question. The first chapter of my new Rumbelle fic is written in third-person omniscient (think narrator), but the rest of the fic will be in Mr. Gold/Rumple's point of view. The chapter is about 3,700 words. Which would people prefer more: keeping the chapter as is or splitting it into two?
Chapter 1: Keep or Split
Keep: One chapter with 3,700 words
Split: One chapter with 2,000 words, and the second chapter with 1,700 words
Got Shirley Temples and traded my cherries for her Rainbow Sour!
I am halfway through re-editing the last section of the first chapter, which may end up as two chapters because I don't do moderation, apparently. It's somehow at 3,500 words 😳
Me: finishes a very rough draft of around 11K for the start of a new fic I am really excited for Next Day: Hey, let's start on another plot bunny!
Rough Draft: Am I a Joke to You?
