When I was a kid I thought Murrey was a non-human, semi-mythical being the same way Mukumuku is - like some sort of goblin or troll haha. I'm actually really pleased with his redesign because as well as making Pui less of a cruel stereotype than Murrey I'm hoping it means kid-me was technically right 😂

Sorry if this is the wrong place to send this; first time doing a submission like this ^^; Headcanon: Murray (AWL) is not actually a human. In reality, he's some form of mountain dwarf/gnome/tengu that got separated from his kind in PoPo Valley and ended up in Forget-me-not. This explains why he doesn't freeze to death in winter, wearing only a grass skirt
