"Happy Birthday, Seiji~!" Hime beamed, tossing a handful of confetti in the air as she did hours before with the others when the clock struck twelve. In the midst of earlier celebrations, the Princess didn't have the time to hand over her gift, so now was the perfect time. "I know I said it before, but here's to a prosperous year for you!" She held up a hoodie in the boy's favorite color, but it had an interesting addition to it's hood--dog ears. "I made sure Mao-chan had a matching one too!"

“Oh, Hime, thank you!” Seiji flashed his usual wide grin as he accepted his present from the girl. Honestly, he was more than a little surprised that it was a hoodie, given how much Hime seemed to resent the things- to the point where she had nightmares, about them, even!

But when he saw the attached dog ears, he felt like he understood.

“Where did you even find something like this?” He asked, pulling lightly at one of the ‘ears’.

"Oi, Sagara-kun!" Maria scurried over, a smile on her face as she stopped the birthday boy in his tracks. "I thought I wouldn't see you today, but I'm glad we finally crossed paths... aaand this is for you~" Reaching into her bag, the elder Hikawa held out a carefully wrapped present. One look, and anyone could figure out that there was something book shaped underneath the wrapping paper; a new sketchbook to be exact. "Tama-chan mentioned she saw you running low on pages, so... here~!"

“Oh, Hikawa-san, happy new years to you.” Seiji easily greeted the older girl, pleased to see the older sister of his rival on this auspicious day. That said, it wasn’t like he was expecting anything from her, so when she pulled out a present, Seiji couldn’t help but blink, surprise crossing his face.

“O-oh, thank you.” Seiji stammered, carefully taking the present from her, before he finally managed to contain his surprise, smiling at her. “That’s very kind of you, Hikawa-san. I’m sure I’ll get a great deal of use out of this.”

"U-um, Seiji!" Tamako called out, much louder than she would have liked, because she preferred if the object of her affections didn't think she was a nuisance. This was the start of a new year, so that meant new beginnings... and not being afraid to express her feelings! "T-this... this is for you!" Thrusting a self-decorated (with her favorite crayons at that!) bag into the birthday boy's chest, her gaze didn't waver this time. "H-happy birthday, Seiji! I made this bear with you in mind!"

If Seiji was the least bit startled by how loudly Tamako had called out to him, it didn’t show on his face, his usual easy grin appearing as he turned around to greet the girl.

“For me?” Seiji blinked, carefully taking the bag from her, for a moment wondering why- before he recalled that today was his own birthday. Sometimes in the festivities of the New Year, it tended to slip his mind.

Carefully unwrapping the package, he gently took the handmade bear in his hands, a soft smile forming on his face as he gazed at the handmade bear and it’s equally handmade red hoodie. “It looks like the two of us match, huh? Thank you, Tamako. I’ll treasure it.”

"There's my birthday boy~" Maria called in a sing-song voice, scooping her youngest into her arms and kissing his cheeks. She spent the most of the week looking for the right present for Naoki, but luck would have it that victory would come yesterday in the shopping district. "Mama hit the lottery jackpot when she was shopping yesterday, and guess what?" Gently asking her son to close his eyes, she placed two tickets to the upcoming basketball game in his hands. "You won the first place prize!"

As soon as Maria’s strong arms scooped him up, Naoki started squirming in them, the young boy trying to break free from her grasp. “Put me down, old lady!” He protested, trying fruitlessly to push against Maria’s arms- but there was no way the strength of a six year old boy could compete with that of a trained martial artist.

“Can’t you just give me my present like a normal person? I don’t like it when you’re all clingy!” Even though he huffed in protest, surrendering himself to Maria’s cuddles, he didn’t honestly seem all that upset.

And of course, any other protests he might have died out in his throat when she placed the tickets in his hand. His eyes lit up, and a huge smile appeared on his face. “A-amazing! Are these really for me? Mama, thank you!”

"Naoki-kun!" Hime scurried over to the birthday boy, a smile on her face as she offered him a sloppily decorated box. Obviously the wrapping was done by the Princess herself, given how she was still a novice in the art of gift wrap... but she wanted to try her best here. "Tamako-chan told me it was your birthday, so I hope you enjoy every piece of it." Within the contents of the box would be imported dark chocolates from a foreign country: a Shirayuki Hime specialty. "Happy birthday, Naoki-kun~"

The way Naoki’s eyes lit up at the mere sound of his voice on Hime’s voice, it was completely obvious to guess how the redhead felt about her. “H-Hime!” Stammering out her name, he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, growing embarrassed that the Princess of the Blue Sky kingdom had gone out of her way to give him a present for his birthday.

“You didn’t have to get something for me, Hime... but I’ll accept it gratefully nonetheless.” Sheepishly taking the box from her, he carefully unwrapped, battling against far too much tape. Finally, the present came free, and he looked it over in his hands, reading the label. It was true that he had gotten Seiji’s English skills, but this wasn’t English... foreign chocolates, though?

“U-um, since it’s H-Halloween and all, w-would you like to have some with me, Hime?”

"Oi, bratty little Birthday Boy!" Tamako called out to her brother, her face scrunched up due to distaste and embarrassment. She hadn't expected to have to do this, especially since there was a chance Naoki was going to make fun of her. "Here! The team chipped in to get you... a Team Captain's jacket." Embroidered on the back was not only Naoki's name, but the endearing title of "Pikarigaoka's Demon Coach"... and despite Tamako's denial of having any involvement with this, it was /all/ her idea.

“What is it, bratty little shrimp?” Naoki made an equally displeased face on hearing the voice of his older sister on this day of his birth celebration (if not his actual birth), folding his arms tight in front of his chest in response.

Today’s Tamako looked a little more annoyed than usual- did she really hate celebrating other people’s birthdays that much? Well, that should figure, given this spoiled little princess’ nature... but whatever, it wasn’t like it bothered him or anything. He wasn’t even really expecting a present or anything like that from her.

So needless to say, it took him a little by surprise when it turned out that she did have one, and it briefly showed on his face. Quickly coughing into his hand to cover it, he dimly accepted the jacket from Tamako. For a second, warm feelings seemed to well up inside of his chest- until he saw the title embroidered on the jacket.

“...Say, exactly whose idea was this?” He asked, a frightening look appearing on his face, suited for this day of Halloween. “I’d like to be told in explicit detail.”

“That is correct. My partner is Mizuno Tsubasa,” Bonnet confirmed, a frown on her little face. It had only been a few days since she met Tsubasa. How could she have let her partner out of her sight like that? This could be dangerous. Very dangerous for someone like Tsubasa. The fairy hadn’t known her for that long, but she couldn’t help but be worried.

“My name is Bonnet. It is nice to meet you, Himelda Cure Queen Window of The Blue Sky.”

The Princess seemed to know Tsubasa, so that was certainly very helpful. Hopefully they’d be able to locate the blonde before anything bad could happen!

“As for what happened to Tsubasa...” Bonnet trailed off. “Something happened, and before I knew it, she used the Ninja PreCards to run away!”

By this point, Bonnet was most definitely panicking.
