Wildly inaccurate description of Daken. He’s like the opposite of ace. He’s confirmed bisexual and super into using sex to control and manipulate people and enjoys it immensely. WTF LOL

... I mean, you said it as well: he’s been shown using sex to control and manipulate. Find me a picture of him initiating for the sole purpose of enjoying it (immensely, no less), oh great connoisseur of all things Daken, and we might have a conversation about it. (also: he’s biromantic - or panromantic - sure, that was never being disputed). I don’t mind people disagreeing, really, but the condescending tone irks me. What is it with ace headcanons that bothers so much?

Got a tablet stand for Christmas and to practice drawing on my ipad I drew Jago

Trying to draw my man but my desktop is being a butt

A little peek at my process... if it can be called that. Honestly sketching is why it takes me so long to do anything because I'm hard headed and usually try (in vain) to draw a pose I looked at for all of five minutes. That's what the middle sketch is. I saw it on pinterest and got pretty close. Super stiff and one dimensional. Looks like two people who just met doing a scene in a play. Lame.

So I go back and get the reference. To see where I went wrong I sketch the pose directly from the reference (which is that first sketch) Which is cute and all. Has a little more feeling but it's two actors doing a scene so there's only so much that helps to give it dimension.

Now that I'm warmed up I put some movement on it. Which is the one of the right. No so flat anymore. They look like they actually know each other. Plus butt cheeks!

I'm somewhat satisfied with that 2nd attempt. Might load in some 3D dolls and see if I can get a more dynamic angle...
