Aurora is afraid of storms. A nasty storm would make her little cottage sound and feel as if it might blow away any minute, or the rain might pelt its way through the thatched roof. Ever since she was very small the sound of a storm was enough to put her on edge. It hasn't gotten any better after moving into a sturdy castle made of stone.

She loves calm rain and distant thunder though.

Bruno never wanted kids. Oh he loves kids, but he's seen all the work it takes to raise them, and he's never felt up to the task. Better never to try and end up a bad parent, you know? But it never bothered him because he still had his nieces and nephews to watch grow up.

His reluctance to have kids was not the biggest factor in him never finding someone to settle down with, but it did contribute.

Aurora would absolutely talk someone’s ear off about ghosts and spooky folk tales she’s heard. She would drag someone to an abandoned house to look for spirits just for fun.
