I think if Leo were to find out his alternate selves from other universes don't have portal-opening magic swords, he'd feel so sorry for them.

What else are they supposed to do with their swords? Just cut things? And how do they hop around in a fight? How do they get somewhere fast?

No wonder his other selves are always such sticks in the mud, look at how much more work they have for themselves!

As a kid Leo had a stuffed bunny he named Usagi. Is that me making an Usagi Yojimbo reference? Absolutely. But that's not where Leo got the name.

He and the other boys watched a lot of old-school anime. Cuz they reminded Splinter of his own childhood and the animated shows he watched when he was a kid. They watched either dubs or the original Japanese, whichever they could get.

Leo named his bunny after Sailor Moon.
