Kat listened to him, playing with the ears of her dog Doggo. “And the day, you sleep upside down?”

Ok, it wasn’t the best way to continue a conversation, but she was actually trying. After all, Tim was her bestie’s boyfriend and Isa had saved Kat’s life, so she could at least make effort to socialize… but it was far from won!

Timaeus chuckled, “No, and I don’t eat bugs either.” Though he could fly but he’d keep that part to himself.  Even if she was a friend of Isabel’s he didn’t know her well enough to feel comfortable sharing that side of him and truthfully it would probably be better if she didn’t know. What would she think if she knew her friend was dating some freak created in a lab.

”During the day I work at a music store and when I’m not there I’m playing with the band.” When he wasn’t with Isabel of course. TImaeus tried to speak as clearly and carefully as possible knowing he still sometimes had trouble with Japanese and his accent only made pronunciation of certain things worse.

Socializing had never been Tim’s strong suit and he would have felt better had Isabel been there but he wanted to get to know her friend’s better so he had to try at least.

“Ah, I think there’s an infestation. Kuribohs everywhere!”

“Hm, Oh this is Ruby.” He lifts his hand up, a small tan spiky looking lizard sits in it before placing it up on his shoulder. “She’s a bearded dragon, and also such a big sweetie. She loves to just sit on my shoulder, even curling up while I do things. I know it’s silly but I even bought this little harness and leash for her, haven had a chance to use it yet thought.”

*hugs him* Your so cute Tim!!

Timaeus tensed before immediately pushing him away and breaking from the unwanted hug.

Generally speaking he wasn’t one to get mad, but his patients was wearing thin. This was the second time he’d tried to hug him, had he not made it clear enough the first time.

“Do...do you normally go around hugging people you just met?”

"Your warm Tim..."

For a moment Timaeus froze up in surprise as the other suddenly decided to try cuddle up to him before quickly moving away creating space between them once again while muttering under his breath in Greek, had he not made it perfectly clear that he had no desire to be touched. He didn’t mind sitting near him but that was far to close for comfort, it was like they had no concept of personal space and boundaries.

“...A little....I mean isn’t everybody at least a little ticklish?”

Timaeus sitting down rubbing lotion on his wings to keep them from getting dry and cracked in the cold air.

“...I’m gonna need more lotion.”
