After what seemed like the longest waiting period of my life, our wedding day is finally here. When I walked into the bridal suite, I noticed a set of forever roses and a card placed prominently on the vanity. Now, I did a good job of keeping it together all day, but seeing that made me lose it. With the words, “For My Wife to Be”, on the front, I knew it was from Mo. I started to cry as I took everything in. This was really the last stop before we say our I do’s. Although I was overwhelmed with emotion, I proceeded to open the card. I expected to read something centered on love and anticipation but instead I saw the words: “Just breathe baby...”. The laugh I let out after that, startled everyone in the room. He wrote exactly what I needed. I swear that man knows me better than I know myself. I dried my eyes and continued to get ready. While I got side tracked for a brief moment, it was quickly over. Shit, my Husband to Be is waiting. Very soon, I’ll be meeting my best friend, lover, and soulmate at the end of the aisle.
