You hear loud and obnoxious snoring, only find this guy fast asleep on the grass.
TW: Blood
Soft giggles filled the warm air as Ruby and Ace danced around on the rooftop to the music in the bar below. The full moon acting as a spotlight for them.
“Never knew you were the dancing type, lovely.” Ruby commented as Ace spun her under his arm. Another giggle leaving her lips.
“Neither did I,” He replied as he pulled her in close, wrapping an arm back around her waist. “But it seems we were both wrong.” A cheeky grin pulled at his features before repeating the steps they had already done. Slowly leading her around the roof, spinning her under his arm before pulling her close once again.
Ace chuckled at the soft squeak Ruby let out as he led her into a dip once the song came to a close. That’s where everything seemed to slow down a little, the music and noise of the world muffling as they both looked at each other for what seemed to be hours.
They both leaned towards each other, something that just felt automatic, that felt right. Everything finally felt perfect for once. But he had to pull away.
He pulled her back up before turning away to cough. Hard. Yet another burning sensation flaring up over his upper back and shoulders as he did. A dark spot on his hand caught his attention. Blood. He coughed up blood. Fuck.
“Jack? Are you okay?” A hand to his back brought him out of his thoughts. He wiped his mouth before wiping the blood onto his jeans and turned to her with a smile.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a tickle in my throat.”
Beyond Light
@soraofdestinyislands
Ana Bray stands in the shores of Destiny Island admiring the view for a moment. A view that will calm her down before Sora or anyone of the wielders arriver because this is beyond them at this point. The Guardian sits on the sands still waiting patiently as her ghost, Jinju, observes the place.

ace is trying his damnedest not to be jealous as celine recounts the details of her date. she wasn’t his girlfriend, they’d never even come close to dating. so why was he jealous, ‘sounds like you had fun.’ good thing he’s gotten used to hiding his emotions so even though he’s jealous he can still act like he’s happy about it. in a way he is happy that she had fun. it’s just that he’s finding himself wishing that she had that fun with him, ‘when’s the second date?’ he asks, taking a long sip off his mug of black coffee.
@herethereismagic
It’d been a promising case, and when the mob boss told him to approach the woman involved, Ace had no objections. Apparently there was some long friendship between his boss and this family, but he wouldn’t pry; he wasn’t paid to be interested. He had found her address easily, whistling as he walked up to her door. He knocked, doorbells were useless devices, and when there was movement inside the home, Ace straightened his jacket, sighing slightly as the door opened, “Miss DuMont?”
[ 🪦 ]ㅤ.ㅤwhat would they want on their gravestone but never admit aloud ? (First muse that jumps in your head when you see this!)
