About Kronos:
Species: Athalaxi'i, currently robotic.
Age: 1000 years.
Height: 8' 2’’
Sexuality: ???
There was once a species called the Athalaxi'i. Technologically advanced, their bodies had evolved to integrate tech into them. In Kronos’ case, it wasn’t any different. As he grew, tech was imbeded into his body. By his own choice, he decided to get those that would make him able to store lots of information in his mind and body, making him a living database of sorts. He learned everything he could get his hands and mind into, from war to biology, medicine... Anything that called his attention.
In his curiosity, he left his home planet and travelled far and wide. It was how he met the Kae’nakwea. Astonished, and extremely curious about him, they welcomed him into their society. His avid mind took in everything they taught him, and shared part of his own knowledge with them.
However, one day an experiment went horribly wrong and Kronos was hurt gravely. The Kae’nakwea did their best to heal him, but they didn’t know enough. He would have to go back home, but Kronos knew he wouldn’t survive the trip… So he offered another option. He would be kept connected as a database for the Kae’nakwea, in a stasis of shorts provided by their crystals that would keep him alive. He would be trapped in the database unless he had a shell to connect to, yes, but at least he would live. Hopefully he’d be able to make contact with his home planet again someday and they’d be able to restore him completely.
When Deija was destroyed, he remained, and Pandora found the database eventually. She had no idea of who it contained, but she took it all the same, hoping to find answers. Kronos has so far spared her from that knowledge.
When it was clear someone was pursuing her and trying to kill her, he requested she built him a shell so he’d be able to help her. He felt like he owed it to the scientists that had saved his life to keep her safe too. And so he became Pandora’s companion.
He can control his shell from the database to interact with the world, and though it might lack some things his original body has, he’s fine with it. He lives, he protects, and that's what matters... Though he's hopeful someday he'll be restored to his former self.
