Ryan didn’t work a lot of night shifts, most of the time it was covering for other people, like last night. Luckily it was the end of a straight couple shifts and now he got a day and a half to rest. A lot of people might of thought he would have gone right to sleep when he got home, which he considered, but he was a little more hungry than anything. So he walked into his home, 6 am, showered and got changed quickly. He passed by his sleeping husband, Leon, and smiled softly to himself. He took a moment to look over the face he hadn’t seen much just with in the last 36 hours, and decided to go make a bit of breakfast. Being a officer, he had most of the time set up shifts. He worked 5 days a week. It could be tiring, trying to work his way up the ranks. He also had to remember he had a life at home to. He stood in the kitchen, at first not quite sure what he was going to make, but decided on good old eggs and bacon. He cracked the eggs and put them in the fry pan. Through the sounds of sizzling, he could hear foot steps making their way into the room, and soon arms were around him. “Mornin’ sunshine, you sleep good without me?” He teased, hearing a yawn in his ear from Leon.
