There was something bittersweet about the end of a work shift. For Faith, the confines of a library were a solace. It was a place to think and become lost in a sea of pages. It was a place of reflection and of meditation. To bother someone -- stir them from their focus -- was one of her least favorite parts of her job.
Though, of course, Faith did want to go home and be with her family, even if her heart would still yearn to be back at the library once she passed through onto the Michael's property. "I really don't want to disturb you," Faith kept her voice low, "but the library is closing soon."
