“Yeah, I’ve been hanging out with Chicle. Why?”
@musehotel entered the bodega!
"Whoa, dude! Who let that dog in? Wait, is it a stray? I better shoo it away." Radicles, a slacker spotted a lone dog entering the store. If he got near a single cat......let's say Rad will be mad. "Hey, you! Dog dude. Need something?"
“...Gumblad.”

Father’s day was looming.
Marsha was sitting at her desk, her foot tapping a mile a minute. There was a open book sitting right in front of her, but she couldn’t focus on it enough. With her elbows on her desk, her face resting on both of her palms and her eyes wide, Marsha sat there as she was trying to hold herself together. And the nightmares didn’t help her situation.
Mother’s day was one thing; for a long time, Marsha had assumed that her mother didn’t want her and Marsha had come to realize how wrong she was. But father’s day...this was a whole different situation. Saying that Marsha and her dad has a “rough past” would be an understatement. To put it simply, half of her childhood left her angry and broken, struggling to pick up the pieces. And while Marsha did apologize for the near coup she tried to pull, she had yet to receive some kind of closure for what she had been through.
Marsha was jolted away from her (scrambled) train of thought when her phone began to ring. She picked it up and checked the caller id. She recognized the number; it was her dad’s. At first, Marsha wondered how he was able to find it out, only to realize that he was all-knowing. After feeling the phone in her hands as it rang, she finally chose to answer it.
She held her breath as she brought the phone up to her ear. “Hello?”
“Whatever happened to me being happy?”

“Please forgive me...I can’t forgive you now...”
“I think that I’m going to take Shy’s advice. I don’t want to be celebrating Father’s Day.”
“Chicle, you’re back!” Marsha waves.
