Under the leadership of Sandra Guzman, NYP Tempo created history. We did our best gathering Boricuas to celebrate our Puerto Rican Day Parade special supplement. Everyone we wanted wasn’t able to make it and we definitely missed a few. It all came together and the day became magical. So many stories behind this photo- from Chita Rivera’s first time visiting El Museo del Barrio to Rich Colon (Crazy Legs) calling Rosie Perez to come over. We made so many great memories that day.
