Pride Sentence Starters
I haven’t seen any of these around yet during this Pride Month, so I decided to collect some sentences into a Pride Month meme!
There’s nothing wrong with you. There’s a lot wrong with the world you live in. I want to do the right thing and not hide anymore. There are so many ways to be beautiful. Hope will never be silent. We are both ‘the girl’ in the relationship, that’s kind of the point. We see gender in two dimensions because that’s what society taught us from birth. Society needs to change! Pride month reminds us that we should be proud of who we are. We are born to live and to love, to care and to be human without any boundaries. Just getting to talk to someone who gets it already means a huge deal. I’m pretty sure this is the kind of crush you can die from. Maybe some people are just meant to be in the same story. Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within. Give yourself permission to enjoy being gay. You may have been told you may not, but give yourself permission to be free. You don’t have forever. You deserve better. Find out who you are and be that person. It’s terrible to have to choose between being yourself and being safe. Being straight was my phase. As long as you are happy, does it matter who you fall in love with? Love is love, and it knows no gender, no race, no anything. Don’t change your colour just to follow the crowd. Be proud of who you are. The beauty of standing up for your rights is that other see you standing and stand up as well. I’m so gay I can’t even drive straight. When we reduce life to black and white, you never see rainbows. Either you’re homophobic or you’re human, but you can’t be both. If Harry Potter taught us anything, it’s that no one should live in a closet. Love has no face, it comes in many different forms.
MusePride: Ed forgoes the obvious green and questionmark covered attire for once because that’s not what this celebration is about. He’s not celebrating Pride as the Riddler but just as himself. He is still pretty easily recognized by Gothamites since he is -- well known --- even more so when he’s got a 6′5″ Riddlerbot all decked out in pride decor following after him. DEMEANOUR IN ATTENDANCE; extremely open and friendly ! in general just happy and excited to be there. he’s already a social person and is even more so during pride. he likes to use the opportunity to connect with people, make some new friends and just let loose and have fun. can be found buying stuff from stalls, dancing, drinking, and swapping numbers with people with a big smile on his face, a small trans pride flag probably painted on his cheek. probably shirtless.

TYPICALLY ATTENDS; He’ll go where he’s asked to go. He’ll spend a little time at the LA festivities first, and doubtless will be asked to more festivals after. He’ll attend if he can.
DEMEANOUR IN ATTENDANCE; A bit aloof and a little disconnected at first. He’s never attended Pride, he doesn’t really get into it himself but as a prominent public figure known for his disregard for gender when choosing partners he’s starting to feel the pressure to at least make an appearance. Once he’s exposed to how much the time means to the people involved that will change and he’ll be a little more open to enjoying what’s going on and interacting with people.

i am delta, and i’ve never had a muse participate in pride before, but i really want to, and i would love to have sam go! this looks like a lot of fun and i’m excited even if sam isn’t yet. i’m not sure who’s familiar with the tron legacy canon, but don’t worry, no tron knowledge is necessary to interact with sam! help him embrace his identity as a member of the lgbt community and prominent example to people across the country.
