So. Many. Boxes. Why were there so many boxes? And whose idea was it to leave the poor tactician alone with them? She understood that since she trained /constantly/ with Frederick, everyone just assumed she could handle heavy lifting by herself. But these boxes... Were so awkward to hold. Maybe she could find someone to help, Cordelia wasn’t doing much right? She hoped Cordelia wasn’t busy at least, for anyone else she could think of was either sleeping or guard duty or /something/ to avoid this. Even Chrom was at town with Emmeryn and Lissa.
psst. my songs know what you did in the dark
((For a second I had no idea what the hell you meant by sending this ask because I forgot I posted the synesthesia thing a few days ago |D at least I hope that’s why you’re sending me this because that’s what you’re getting!
Alright, so the weird gibberish-sounding stuff in the beginning is kind of a fuzzy green-grey, and the “ohhh”s over it are a burgundy color. I love Patrick Stump’s voice because it’s always a rlly nice reddish color but with a different quality depending on what he’s singing. In this one it’s got a neat little like red-gold thing going on I think???? Like, it’s almost like rusty red but with orange-y undertones. The “in the dark dark” parts that pop up on the sides are like navy blue bubbly-fuzzy ripples in the lower corners of my vision. The drums in the back create a very deep red velvety texture and everything else kinda floats over it really lightly, like tissue paper or something? It’s kinda hard to describe the texture. But basically when the song goes through that filter that makes Patrick’s voice kinda hazy/fuzzy/radio static-y, it’s kinda like when you’re looking through a window with one of those metal screens in front of it.
I feel like the more I listen to a song the less details I notice in the song when I’m actually trying to see the colors. Like I’ve listened to this one so many times that a lot of the tiny details I would’ve noticed the first time I heard the song now I have to look harder to pay attention to. I’ve kinda trained myself to ignore the colors I see for music and sounds in my everyday life because when I was a kid I’d get sensory overload REALLY easily if I was in a noisy area because I couldn’t process all the colors, shapes, textures, and noises all at once, so as I got older I learned to push those sensations to the back of my mind and ignore them.))
