Didn’t think of that.” Yuko let out a chuckle, more amused by the expression the taller girl was wearing on her face than anything. She’d stood out for most of her life, and she knew she practically looked like she’d stepped out of a manga, these days, so she didn’t blame her. “Name’s Himura, Yuko Himura. Should I give you some time to pull your thoughts back together, or do you think you can hold a stable conversation, now?”

Honestly, she was a bit iffy on teachers. They pitied and seemed somewhat fake, however, she would try once more. Despite their high expectations and such, she had given him the treat she didn’t desire for. Perhaps, it would be in for good use this time.

“Ahh... N-Not really,” She glances at his name tag for a moment, continuing, “Mr. Matsudo... I-I was on a field trip, is all... And... I-I’m lost... The bus back to school has a-already ran... And I guess I missed it...”

“S-Sorry... I’m a bother, Mister....”

Tio squealed as she ran up to her small totally-not-girlfriend, picking the smaller woman up and pulling her into a tight hug. Immediately, visibility would be obscured by the oni’s massive pillows. But Tio’s chest was nothing if not heavenly! Though Tio had the habit of hugging without warning, she couldn’t help offering her love to others. 

“It’s always a good day when I can hug you, I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything eh heh..”

     “Mhm.” Poor Ruya feels as if her body were made of stone, her exhaustion is that great. She can’t help but smile wryly--once upon a time, she’d thought that the end of the war would mean a little more time to herself. But alas, her work as Chrom’s right-hand woman still ate up most of her time, though she knew it took an even greater toll on him.

    A soft sigh escapes her as he began to play with her hair--the sensation had always been soothing, and it was especially welcome even now.

    “I’m not sure I could take tomorrow off, at this hour,” she muses. “But the day after, perhaps? Chrom himself has been nudging me to take a break...if it were up to him, I imagine he would allow me to take tomorrow off.” She chuckles. “Alas, I don’t think the nobility would be so forgiving. Still, I think it’s a wonderful idea. Where should we go?”

      “Wine?” She wrinkles her nose--she was sure she’d been told it was punch, by...who was it? Vaike? Maybe he thought it’d be funny, telling her otherwise. It did explain why the punch wasn’t as sweet as she’d been expecting. “Mm...I’m okay. Just a little...light?”

Yumi was really glad that Katsuma had appreciated the gift, despitecir being kind of bland, at least, to her. She really wished she knew more about the things he likes. But, now's not the time to think about that.

She was about to reassure him that it was fine that he didn't have a gift, knowing how busy it can get for schools around this time. However, she was immediately caught off guard by his suggestion.

"U-U-Umm...... s-sure! D-Dinner sounds nice a-and I'm available tonight." she smiles shyly.

She tried her best not to look embarrassed, but it's kind of difficult not to see with her stuttering and flustered expression.

It's just dinner! Dinner is fine and normal!
