Ears twitch at the subtle movement of wind, a wild animal looking around curiously for any hints of sound it might follow. But upon hearing nothing nearby, the fox rears up and runs in a sudden burst of energy. She loves the feeling of wind rushing past her, bolting at top speeds through a wide open field. Soon, a figure at the edge of the horizon comes into view, and instinct takes over as her direction shifts towards said figure.

Hopefully whoever it is can handle a fox barreling into them at speeds a normal fox shouldn't be able to achieve.

“Wh - Huyo?!” Luckily, Yuko has the reflexes and speed to dodge the high speed vulpine without much issue, though the suddenness with which she had to do so threw her off balance and sent the redhead tumbling onto her rear. She’s never seen anyone move fast enough to actually get her on the back foot like that, so immediately, Yuko leaps back up to her feet, her hand gripping the saya her reverse blade sword is sheathed within.

“Wh-What’s the big deal...?!”

Okita would stare at the girl for a few moments before her hazel eyes would turn away. Was there someone like that in Chaldea? If there is then… no. No, if there was, Okita would likely have already known and learned about him by now. Even Lord Yagyuu would’ve talked about him.

The Saber would shake her head.

“No, I don’t think so. There’s no one going by that name here in Chaldea, as far as I know.” Okita’s smile then returns. “But we do have Mr. Sakamoto, if you’re interested in people from the Bakumatsu! Y’know, Sakamoto Ryouma? Although I dunno if he’s within your interests…”

“Nah, I’m more interested in the swordsmen of the Bakumatsu - like you and the rest of the Shinsengumi! Especially since Battousai fought for the Ishin Shishi; he’s my ancestor!” Really, this couldn’t be a better opportunity! A chance to learn from the warriors who lived in that time period... Even if they were Kenshin’s enemies at the time, Yuko didn’t think of them as bad people.

“I won’t ask you for stories about your time during the war, I know it’s probably not something most of you probably enjoy reliving, but all the same, I’m really honored to get to work alongside you, Okita-san! Oh, or should I call you Okita-dono?” ...Wait, wasn’t “dono” an antiquated term even in the Bakumatsu...? Ah well, she’d figure that out at some point.

“Honestly, that’s the third time in the past two hours...” Yuko sighed as she sheathed her sakabatou and slid the saya back into her belt loop. Were the thugs and lowlifes just out in force, today? Or was it this neighborhood...? This was Yuko’s first time in this part of Tokyo, and it was a shitamachi district... That meant narrower passageways and darker corners for the seedier people to thrive. Luckily, the police were already on their way, so Yuko left the area, spotting a familiar figure approaching.

“Huyo? Miroku?”

“W-Wait, Okita Souji?!” She really should’ve considered it a possibility, considering the wide variety of Heroic Spirits found in these halls, and yet somehow the thought of meeting any of the Shinsengumi never once crossed her mind. Did that mean... It was possible to meet her ancestor here?!

“Hey, hey, is Hitokiri Battousai here? If not, that’s okay! I’ve always wanted to meet someone from the Bakumatsu!”

“Oh! I haven’t met any other Servants who use katana, yet!” Of course, Yuko had a feeling that this young lady used a “proper” katana, but she wouldn’t expect anything else. After all, despite being classified as an Assassin - much to her own consternation - her sword wasn’t that of a killer’s blade... Still, it was great to meet another kenjutsu Servant here at Chaldea, in her eyes - they could spar and learn from each other! “It’s a pleasure to meet you; I’m Himura Yuko!”
