The Omega couldn’t wait to spoil her Alpha rotten on his special day. Of course, she gave him breakfast in bed and fed him lunch as well, but she really went all out for his birthday dinner and the desserts. Chocolate frosted brownies with red, white, and blue sprinkles, pies, chocolate cakes. Yes, plural: Cakes. The rest of the Avengers really enjoyed Amelia’s cooking, but the one with candles was reserved for Steve and Steve alone. She was dressed in a red white and blue shirt with jean shorts and in the kitchen, putting the finishing touches on his cake.

Tara sensed it, that Buffy wanted to say something about her warning and she thought it was funny. She didn’t say that because she was actually worried it would truly hurt Buffy, it was more out of manners than anything. “You’re welcome. It’s, mm... the least I can do”, she did mean it. Carefully, she carried on with cleaning the cuts, spraying them antiseptic before placing a bandage to cover it properly. Buffy would heal fast enough, anyways. “So... What kind of... thing did this to you?”

Amelia woke Steve up at midnight on his birthday, eager and excited to start celebrating his special day. She straddled his waist, running her hands through his blond hair, kissing him lovingly with a soft hum, awaiting him to wake up, and once he had, she pulled back, blushing as she smiled adoringly down at him. “Happy birthday, darling,” she purred softly.

Granted, Steve was the breadwinner, so it wasn’t like Amelia could plan a surprise party on her own without Steve knowing. However, the former Huntress had become friends with a consort of his friend Tony. And the two of them were more than willing to help her plan a surprise for the Vampire. Pepper had gotten Amelia a new blue dress to surprise Steve with. He had some business to take care of in the morning, which was enough time for Pepper to deliver a couple of goodies, including a couple new ‘toys’ courtesy of Tony for Steve’s birthday. As soon as Steve came back, Amelia greeted him, wearing the new dress and with a kiss. “Happy birthday!” she chimed with a timid smile, hoping he’d like the dress.
