“Being an untriggered teen is a bitch, all rage and bodily changes and other first-time intense feelings all in one. You are both hardwired to protect Sawyer for different reasons, and you put his instinct under house arrest. You should have because he wouldn’t have been very productive with a broken limb, but you also told his mom in order to do it. Right or not, that’s a dick move.

If either of them or both of them wanted to do it, I would say they should. It’s a lot of fun, even if it does get a little catty. It’s competition. Maybe by the time they’re ready in a couple years, I’ll be one of the judges. Who knows.”
