my most beloved cubfan135
Overheard today in the Mummy Exhibit:
5 year old kid: Hey mom? Why did they wrap them up? That's stupid, it's gonna take SO LONG to unwrap them!
The Mom, sweating: Well, uh, you see, they only did that after they died
Kid: THEYRE DEAD???
Little man really thought the museum had entire wrapped-up living people on exhibit 😭
morrison and paul fletcher I am in your walls
Is there something going on this random Saturday in April? How are we 2 tickets away from being completely sold out???
I forgot to post these yesterday; had a good time in the museum again, polishing and dusting
We only have a week or two left of shutdown before the museum opens up to the public again, but we're making good progress
queering history
I am sure I'll post about this more but I can't stop getting excited about the exhibit I'm helping design about a pair of c. 1900s lesbians they are SO COOL. Digging through the archive to find pieces on them is a bit hard (bias, especially against queer history in archives is also a topic I'd love to write on more) but which each piece I find, I can see the story building and AAAAA its gonna be so fun :)
