So is it a thing where your brain just learns new things one day out of the blue and you don’t even notice it? Like when I was little I couldn’t whistle a tune to save my life and now I can do just about any song imaginable from Bohemian Rhapsody to Mozart to Shut Up and Dance. I used to think poetry and rhyming was hard and now I can sit down and write, memorize, and recite a fluid 120 measure rap verse in an hour. I used to only be able to sing songs in one key because I couldn’t process them mentally into any other besides the one I originally heard them in and now just like starting two days ago, I can sing or hum a tune in any major or minor key imaginable without even thinking, like most people can I suppose.
I’m amazed at my mind’s own level of musical enlightening sometimes.
