Run Yamaha MusicCast after Network Change

Hi folks!

I spent lots of evenings trying to find out how to get rid of error 10305 in order to re-setup the wifi network for my MusicCast components after substituting my wifi router (which now uses slightly different security settings compared to the older one).

Finally, I figured out how to get through the setup process of the app without facing any errors. This is how it worked for me...

1st Step: Factory Reset of Network Settings successfully tested for devices WX-010 and WX-030

According to Yamaha FAQ conduct the following steps not documented in the manual:

While device is turned off press and hold the ‘Volume -' & 'Volume +' buttons on the top panel at the same time for about 5 seconds

Then press the Power/Connect button on the top panel for about 3 seconds

The network settings are now reset back to factory settings. 

2nd Step: Re-Setup the Network within MusicCast Controller App

Remove any old room settings (resp. room entries) as they hold information of the previous network

Perform the ‘Connecting to the network’ steps according to the user manual of your device (e.g. in case of WX-010 see description on page 7), but...

Do not select a suggested network, scroll down instead and select 'Other SSID’ (or similar) and type in the SSID of the network you want to connect with, manually

As soon as you have entered the network SSID manually, you will be asked to specify the security settings of your network (e.g. you can select ‘WPA2′ or ‘Mixed Mode’, the latter is labled ‘WPA+WPA2′ by some router configuration masks)

In my case, these steps successfully helped not facing any errors. Afterwards, I was able to continue with setting up the room name etc.
