I mostly just wrote this for fun without thinking about where a real plot might take the story, but I’m certainly not opposed. I really love Kala/Wolfgang, and it’s a fun challenge to try to capture a fraction of their chemistry in words. There’s a surprising lack of Sense8 fic, which I hope changes! :)

I didn’t know about Eggold. It shouldn’t surprise me. They seem to love his character more than Elizabeth Keen. Depressing.
Thing is, I really enjoyed Tom. And I loved them together. But here's yet another dude I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT without Elizabeth Keene.

I'd say the maternity leave thing is a slim chance. That maybe they're pulling a fakeout. But historically shows like this get really unkind to lead actresses who get pregnant, especially if they dare to have a baby DURING filiming-season. And this show particularly (and its fanbase, particularly its male fans) have been rather unkind to Megan Boone from the very start. I get sick to think of how many insults I've seen about her acting, claims that the show's only value is in Spader.
Without Megan Boone I couldn't give a FUCK about Spader. Or the Blacklist. There is no Blacklist for me without Elizabeth Keene.
But I have a bad feeling they may not be faking us out. Ryan Eggold is getting a spinoff. Which makes ZERO sense if Liz is in fact alive and returning. Why would her husband leave with their infant daughter if that were so?
And to be honest I almost don't CARE if it's a fakeout.
I am sick to DEATH of shows throwing a woman's death at our screens in grabs for ratings. I am sick of every time a WOMAN wants to leave a show or has to leave a show, her character is killed--men get to be written out with respectful and often heroic exits, frequently with the door left open for guest returns. Women get murdered. Even female leads are apparently the most fun to write when they can play with our fear that they'll take them away from us.
God, we thought the ladies bodycount in TVLand ended last week, but apparently we needed to wait just a little longer.
Jaqobis brothers' past. The secret stuff that John doesn't know or remember. Dutch's past. A bigger hint at what her life was life before the Yardeens fell out of power. Dutch/Johnny flashback. Movement on Dutch/D'avin. Team Awesome Force back together in the back half.

Heh. Yeah, the shower. But anyway...yes, the nannites are gone. I'm worried, though, that D'avin will be turned back into Level 6 Bad D'avin to work for the Company. My poor babies.
