Wait.... Did---did Sea Patrol really reuse the exact same scene of Dutchy in the med bay from 4x09 again in 4x03 (yes in that order) and think we wouldn't notice?? They didn't even try to edit out the blood on X's neck from 4x09.... I mean, I'm not complaining about seeing Dutchy shirtless, bruised, in pain, and bloody twice, but I am complaining that they really thought the fans wouldn't notice. 🙃 Even the part where the CO leaves the room! It's the exact same scene, the audio for his line is just different words.

Anyway, I'm willing to bet that the sun seed was a gift from Sol Regem's mother (previous Dragon Queen) which is part of why to Karim him giving it for Sol Regem (her son's) usage is just the course of history taking its natural path. + Bonus Karim not knowing the Sun Seed started as something small and relatively powerless (something they had to Grow and be patient for) > it being immediately powerful and transformative the way he thought (and inherently craves)

Honestly, Eddie is such a gentle man until someone tests him. I feel like people only remember his violent, upset moments but no one remembers his sweet caring moments, not just with Christopher and Buck but with everyone.

I feel like that's also Ryan's personality slipping out too but still.

I don't think it's appreciated enough how funny Eddie actually is. Like people always assume he's the strict, serious one, but his comedic timing is perfect.
