you cant say "refugees welcome" and then go "twitter queers stay away"
that just doesn't make sense. maybe examine what you're feeling and if its in any way different from anti-immigration stances in the offline world.
for me i notice that i feel "theyre going to change this place (for the worse)" and "theyre taking my webbed site away from me" which is exactly what anti-immigration folks think too and i already know that these fears are not necessary because i curate my own experience, and that change can also be positive and that other queer folks also deserve a social media that they can use that respects their right to exist.
i'd reblog a "tumblr ettiquette for newbies" post every day over a "twitter refugees stay away"
