I'm really lost without my prayers. I keep getting stressed thinking i forgot to pray and then i remember i can't. It's a weird emotion. I nees to find an intermediate. Something to do instead.

The evil eye is real. I have two pairs of glasses and both are now properly messed up due to separate incidents after someone at work said they hate me (jokingly) about having such nice frames which she could never find locally. Non muslims should just have an equivalent for mashallah tbh this stuff is stressful. I have two slanted, loose frames now wtf fam.
Tbh i don't think it helps when muslims come out and say 'we are not like these people and we condemn this attack'. Just say you stand in solidarity with the victims and their families? Idk being on the defensive from the get go - whilst obviously understandable - just reinforces the idea that there is some connection to be had between muslims and these tragic moments. But that's just how i see it.
I'm so tired of meeting new muslims that don't take a second to think about the first statement that comes out of their mouth when hearing I'm a Shia muslim. Like you're grown adults capable of finding information that wasn't from the mouth of some bias speaker or imam or your parents idk like take some initiative and don't speak ignorance cause honestly that's unislamic itself. Obv not every single one at work is like this but it's been 3 people in the span of 2 weeks like come on.

Shoutout to the yemenis doing ziyaret this year. Hope they feel welcome and at peace for a short while compared to what they've been dealing with in their homes.
