The important people in our lives leave imprints. They may stay or go in the physical realm, but they are always in your heart, because they helped form your heart. There's no getting over that.

That “aameen” I heard from praying salaah on Jumu’ah makes my heart leap. It was so magical. So extraterrestrial.
Jumu’ah mubarak! :)
Finding Sakinah
For the first post of this blog, it will be about the title of my blog, Finding Sakinah.
Why Finding Sakinah? I chose this because I’m on the path of finding my sakinah. Accordingly, Sakinah is an Arabic word derived from sukun meaning "peace", "serenity" or "tranquility". So the literal meaning of this is finding my inner peace. Really, i’m having a hard time to find sakinah at times. That’s why I really want to make it a habit. I guess, it is a must to live a happy a life.
That’s it for my first post. I hope I made it clear.
May ALLAH swt grant us Sakinah for the rest of our lives.
