ok but I think people arguing frank would support gun rights are right, they've just got completely the wrong idea about it. what people forget is that gun laws were originally introduced by white people to try and keep guns out of the hands of black people, and frank would absolutely be aware of this. I feel like he'd be a firm believer in one's right to defend themselves and their families, which is what responsible gun ownership entails; he just doesn't want guns in the hands of those (cont)
(cont) who'd use guns to harm innocent people, and so yeah, he'd definitely be an advocate tighter gun control. banning them outright? no way. he's sensible enough to realise how unrealistic that is and he knows that nothing is going to stop criminals obtaining guns illegally, but being an ex-serviceman, he knows that guns aren't toys and owning them is a privilege, not a right. I hope this makes sense and I'm not just rambling but yeah good meta as always!
No no this is awesome!! And honestly you put it a lot better than I did. (This is kind of why I didn’t want to get into like an argument with anyone, ‘cause I don’t word things that well sometimes and with issues like this, especially on a blog that’s meant to be fun, I wanted to avoid it.)
But this is all very true and very much exactly how I feel Frank feels, at the end of the day. Excellently put!
