Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Freakshow is a unique, fanmade iteration of TMNT with a special take on the turtles.

In this new iteration, Hamato “Splinter” Yoshi is a former ninja-turned ringmaster along with his four sons Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michaelangelo. After being mutated by a mysterious substance, Splinter takes this opportunity to do what he always wanted: start his own traveling circus! However, this resulted in him neglecting his duties as a member of the Hamato clan, which would have disastrous consequences for him and his family.

Splinter’s sons, on the other hand, have no idea what events are about to happen and how much danger they would be facing. Fortunately, they have their two best friends April and Casey by their side to help lend a hand.

hi yall!! feel free to ask me questions abt my iteration!!! I don’t have much planned story wise YET, but feel free to ask me about the turtles or April and Casey! you can ask me about Splinter, but I don’t have much on him yet. this is still very in development!

I don't think I knew you had a tmnt iteration, what's the main premise of it? What makes it different than the canon iterations or other fan iterations?

I don’t have much abt posted except for some questions someone im following asked me that i answered BUUUUT

in this iteration the turtles and Splinter have their own traveling circus/carnival! it doesn’t really take place in New York tho— (but it is a setting for some important stuff)

it centers around Raph and his relationship with his brothers (mostly Donnie) and his insecurities that come with being “different” bc of his condition (albinism). I don’t see many things center around Raph and I want to give him a moment to shine. Mikey also plays a pretty big role because he’s the closest to Raph

the basic premise tho is that after getting mutated (and traumatized by the Shredder), Splinter abandons his duties as a member of the Hamato Clan in pursuit of his dream of becoming a performer (despite his mutation). eventually enough evil starts to arise and Splinter realizes that he needs to train his children in the ways of ninjutsu and all that jazz

MAY include the Ninpo/mystic stuff, but im not sure yet

the story also includes characters like Bebop and Rocksteady, Leatherhead, and Hypno as other members of the circus

i don’t have much planned out story wise as im still trying to find a good enough starting point and figure some more things out, but when I do all that i will DEFINITELY start posting abt it more

ANSWER TIME

1: I like to think it involves a lot of playful teasing and banter, as siblings do :3 I won’t go into full detail bc it would be a LOT 😔 it’ll be explained tho 😉

7: Leo, Mikey, and Raph think that Donnie’s leadership skills (yes, Donnie’s the leader) come off as lazy and the three of them know it, they don’t even have to say it to each othet. Donnie doesn’t catch on

8: they don’t have many friends aside from each other, April, and Casey so there’s not much to judge. yet

13: well, there hasn’t been any reason for them to be apart for long periods of time yet, but I’d say it would be mostly warm, slightly awkward because of some lingering tension

16: Raph is deemed the favorite by Donnie, because Raph gets a lot —if not most— of the attention (Donnie may or may not contribute to his own opinion)

17: Donnie knows the “favoritism” is because of Raph’s condition (albinism), but he can’t help but feel jealous which puts more tension between the two (there’s already quite a bit 😬)

18: nobody is really against each other, but as mentioned previously there is tension between Donnie and Raph

33: Mikey!! he just wants to hang out with his big bros and have fun :)

34: Raph. he doesn’t enjoy all of the extra attention and care he gets just because of his albinism, and he would rather not have it at all. or he would just want to be treated normally
