idk where you’re all coming from but i hit 100 last night!!! thank you to all of you omg?? for a very long time i wanted to make this blog but wasn’t sure i’d be able to do charles justice. the fact that i made it past 10 followers even amazes me. i love you all so much and want to thank you for making this such a wonderful experience for me. now, without further ado, the pure humans i must acknowledge for giving this blog meaning <3

@prydefully - obviously you had to be here you’re my maple syrup buddy <33 you’re one of my best friends and your blog is like 11/10 omg. we have some weird conversations tbh (your nachos are in the mail) but i wouldn’t have it any other way. you’re a huge support system for me and i lOVE CHARLES AND KITTY INTERACTIONS OKAY <3

@metallsinne - I! LOVE! YOU! okay so our rants on discord have helped me develop charles so much. by just yelling about how charles is kind of a douchebag and getting another perspective on him as a character, it helps me better understand how to write him. PLUS YOUR ERIK IS THE BEST THING. i do not regret giving you feelings with sad cherik songs and i thank you for the fic you send me <3

@somehcpe - charlotte and charles fuck. me. up. i love it. i love their contrasting personalities and how easy writing is with you, it’s like we just click. your blog is amazing, charles always needs someone to tell him when he’s being stupid. i’m ready for some HARDCORE PLOTS with you always <3

@xmusiisms - you’ve been a presence on all three of my blogs and ily sm. your x-kids make me so happy and i love all of our interactions (especially where alex is tryna knock some sense into charles ok). you’re always gonna be one of my favourite blogs and i love the history we’ve created together <3

@suckerpnch - we haven’t interacted much but omg nina!!!!! is!!!!! so!!!!! pure!!!!! charles is already just so attached to her and she’s so sWEET I LOVE HER OKAY. i look forward to future threads with you, i think there’s all kinds of opportunity for development!! <3

@mshpkhh - we also haven’t interacted very much (once on my other blog and once here) BUT JAKOB IS THE BEST SOFT OLD MAN. i love him so much it physically hurts tbh. and you’re literally the nicest person ever??? you’re really easy to talk to and i’m not scared to ask you questions or anything it’s very nice <3

the diner has a ‘be back in an hour’ sign taped to the front door. three, two, one. marcus counts backwards in his head. benny’s voice comes to mind, reminding me to talk. i need to look after laura today. laura’s just a child. right. a child with freddy krueger-like blades. marcus juggles the idea of calling benny up; getting the know-how on when, you know, he’ll get back to the diner. 

i rest my elbows on the counter. that patsy cline song benny adores plays softly from the jukebox. i don’t dislike it. the song reminds me of him. i peer over at the girl. figure it’s time to chat. “they ever hurt?” i wiggle my fingers. “your knives. fuck, sorry. the claw things.”

      “Aren’t you a bit too young to be on a field of battle?!” Thor found himself a bit dismayed by the fact this child was out here in this fight, unsure whether or not he should try to save her. The blades coming from her fists proved to be rather effective. And they were fighting the same people.
