Domino was having a slow day. She hadn’t been called for a job in a week or two, and it was starting to get to her. Being idle was never really her thing, she’d rather be doing something with herself, no matter what it was. She felt the anticipation of action building in her, and it was making her antsy.
This day was no exception. Holed up in her abode, she couldn’t take it anymore, she had to get out for a while. She took one last look around her empty home, grabbed a coat and headed for the door.
Outside, she stuffed her hands in her pockets, consumed with thought, absentmindedly heading towards a local park. The breeze in her hair and the occasional passerby calmed her a little, as she drifted down the pavement. She hoped she might run into a friendly face.
