WAKING THE WITCH: PART TWO has begun!
One month after crossing paths with Charles and Raven Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr arrives in the United States. He’s wounded from his ordeal in Miami as well as physically and mentally exhausted. He owes Charles Xavier a debt for saving his life: he’s to stay at the sprawling Xavier estate until his wounds heal. Erik reluctantly adjusts to temporary life in this gilded cage, with a boy he’s badly scorned and the protective sister keeping her sharp eyes on Erik’s every move.
Forced to remain in one place and reflect on his failures, Erik must fight becoming too attached to his hosts. This proves difficult when a party planned in Charles’s honor seems to leave the boy more terrified than excited, and Erik soon finds their roles as savior and the saved have been reversed.
