It is not often when entity that was for all it's existence bond to one place, finds itself in totally unfamiliar surroundings. Alas, that was what happened to the Spirit of Life; to add to curiosity of it was not even the view that was foreign but everything around, down to anaerobic organisms deep underground and tiny bacteria in the air. Everything was alien and unresponsive. And gone was awareness of every single sparkle of life across the planet. In it's place was only silence.

That void was almost suffocating.

The only reason it was not lied in the fact that from the very start of that strange adventure, Mother Gaia felt distant and yet paradoxically close presence, muffled and faint like a whisper - her dear child's existence. And it was the only thing that kept the humanized life force from gripping on the wood of her cane hard enough to break it.

Muttering about 'vicious atrocities', she went for a walk, hoping to find reason of her presence here. That 'here', actually, looked quite like tundra forests - common sight in some regions of northern Siberia. It was comforting in a way.

After some time of leisurely exploration Gaia stumbled upon something that overlapped all negative feelings she felt about being here. The reason of such intense reaction of wonder was contained near seemingly harmless building in a form of a cocoon. Cocoon that held humanoid form and was very much alive inside.

"Fascinating," she marveled, almost dancing around the wonder. Then she noticed another curiosity - empty injection tube lying on the ground. "Most fascinating."
